There are a couple of decent options here: the Colosseum and Statue of Liberty are probably your best bet for reliable wonders during the Cold War Era. Taj Mahal gives you some income boost, but money isn't much of a problem in Tropico 6, and Hikone is mostly military-focused, so only choose it during war-based scenarios. The other two options, the Taj Mahal and Hikone are less powerful. More ships are easier to come by, whereas the power of the Eiffel tower is hard to recreate without spamming TV and radio stations. Really, though, it's probably better to focus on building more docks for Freight traffic rather than foregoing the political benefits of the Eiffel tower. The only other viable option may well be the Moai Heads, especially if you're playing on a map with a lot of separate islands and ship traffic. Your radio and TV stations will now spread all over the map, making spreading propaganda much easier, furthering your political power in the later stages of the game when it becomes more of an issue. This wonder synergizes perfectly with the Brandenburg Gate. Things are even simpler during the World Wars era: go for the Eiffel Tower. The Hagia Sophia means citizens will never die of bad healthcare - not bad, but remember that healthcare also makes your citizens happy. The Registan of Samarkand provides higher educated citizens in the late-game, which is useful because they can be hard to come by. The other options, Registan and Hagia Sophia do have their uses. RELATED: The Games To Play If You Love Sim City As Boats are one of the best money-makers in Tropico 6, having an infinite supply of wood is a benefit throughout each of the future eras. Stonehenge is probably the top pick for a Colonial-era World Wonder. This makes late-game political nightmares much easier to deal with. It basically prevents your citizens from becoming die-hard political activists, and they're more likely to adopt moderate political views. The Brandenburg Gate is what you should go for if you want political stability throughout the rest of your game. However I still feel it is necessary just to voice my opinion and ideas incase modding does become available, and no I do not plan to make them, I have no idea how to mod videogames, just want to have a more in-depth gaming experience! Because modding could cause conflict with future DLC ideas that would be a lot more fine tuned if released by Kalypso themselves. ![]() I don't know if modding support is still something being worked on by Kalypso, if they gave up on modding support, or if introducing modding at this point would just reduce the amount of attention Kalypso gives the game. ![]() ![]() Customization Mods (mods that enable use of non-Tropico flags, coat of arms, motto, island/nation name, etc) Advanced Military (ability to dispatch units to posts around the island which will decrease crime but also cause negative approval, less "mosquito" invasions and bigger and more impactful invasions, etc) Advanced Roads (connecting bridges, roads able to be side by side to add an avenue effect, better placement or placement override for roads, tunnels, and bridges, etc) maybe even introduce Asian, European, and other regional architectural building packs) More Building Options (more model choices for housing, parks, etc. Drugs/Cartel Mod (i've heard people say this is a mod for Tropico 6, but I cannot find it anywhere) - note: I feel this wouldn't be a DLC because it could draw a lot of criticism for developers and Kalypso as a whole, but for it to be a mod, well, that can't be discouraged now can it? However there is an article that stands out for some modding assistance, yet the last post was over a year ago. I see a lot of people promoting the use of the Unreal Engine 4 (UE4) for modding support but again, no real source for that nor could I find modding tutorials for Tropico 6 to help those that encounter issues. Without a doubt Tropico 6 is a good game, but imagine the possibilities if Mods started popping up. I don't know if my research is just flimsy but I cannot find a proper excuse for the absence of modding for this game.
